The Health and Wellness Event "Homerun to Health" was a huge success on April 18, 2024, at PGHS. Our school community enjoyed the opportunity to visit over 25 organizations that provided health screenings, information on chronic disease management, and community resource information.
The night was filled with smiling faces of children doing crafts and face painting. A delicious meal was served and enjoyed by all and to top it off great prizes were given out. I would like to thank the following who made this event possible. The PGCP Wellness Committee members, custodial staff for assisting with the setup, PGHS National Honor Society for the craft, face painting by Mr. Gibson, PGMS student council members for assisting with the meal service, the local businesses that donated items for the prizes, and our Rock Star food service members for the delicious meal. We are looking forward to our next Health and Wellness Event.
